Unless the next version stops this will be the last version I ever buy You can search their support on how to turn off all this bloat you don't need and find The bloat and share is clearly the strategy Update - - I have found I cannot turn off auto creations, which I do not want because it is neither helpful nor cool it is just fricking irritating, without turning off facial recognition - I have also seen the memory error on close down a few times now on my new machine, the error I find in the community support group being reported back in , so the bug has been carried across versions!
I use this for cataloging my photos and for editing. I upgraded for elements to but found very little change to the editing tools and the storge is the same.
Exactly what I expected and works very nicely! I upgraded from Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 to Elements and no, there isn't a huge amount of visual difference but behind the scenes of the application seems to be better. Better start times, more polished over, bit more reliable. I mostly needed this newer edition as Elements 14 doesn't support the newer RAW format of my new camera but its always nice to get a new edition every few years or so anyway.
I prefer the fact that this is a physical copy with DVD's included and not just a code and online download. I have used Elements 5 6 8 9 and have found miner faults in all of them but Elements 9 has some serious flaws. Pros: screen clear and easy for those of us with aging sight.

PSE 9 UI display. Looked forward to using this after version 2 - foolishly purchased it. In common with others I cannot use the dark grey i nterface and display font sizes; what use is grey on grey when your eyesight is problematic?

The background and menus are hard to read, the black text on dark grey is not legible, the sliders are especially difficult to discern if they are moved.
